Executive Risk Insurance Services (ERIS) was founded in August 2004 with the objective of establishing a company focused on providing risk management solutions for directors, officers and trustees. ERIS added Trade Credit and Political Risk products in August of 2007 and has had steady growth in this business since 2007 with policies in a wide variety of industries. The Trade Credit Group has grown to the 5th largest private sector Trade Credit Insurer in Canada.

ERIS is a Lloyd’s Managing General Agency (MGA). ERIS provides the underwriting services on behalf of certain underwriters at Lloyd’s. The trade and political risk product offerings are 100% backed by Kiln Syndicate 510 at Lloyd’s. The facility has been established based on the following key principles: product innovation; focus on each applicant company individually, to address their specific needs and requirements; and industry leading service.
